In the mood for some learning? Then you should make your SPOT below for this challenge.

1 point for any documentary.

2 points for a documentary about dark subject matter.

3 points for a documentary about the horror genre.

1 bonus point for an FTV.

DVD and Blu-ray commentaries are allowed and fall under the same rules, but no FTV point.

This year, we're going to try one small change. If you want to watch a documentary that's less than 40 minutes, you can, but you only receive half the points.

Mockumentaries are also allowed, but they must be feature length.

The Documentary Challenge will begin with June and end with June.

If you need some ideas for what to watch, here's last year's progress thread https://trashepics.com/post/9/197/.

But it is a documentary. As I have stated multiple times it is a show that has the real people, real detective and police man documenting how the investigation went underway. The dramatization is a re-enactment of a true event which goes with the definition I posted. Deadly Secrets isnโ€™t a crime drama based on true events, itโ€™s the people who went through these events telling their story, which by the definition I posted makes it a documentary.

It's ok, we've should have learned by now that you are never wrong. I'm sorry we forgot that. I mean I think you're wrong, Ballz thinks you're wrong and Basic_Username thinks you're wrong, but guy we need to remember that she is never wrong so obviously we are wrong.

Clearly you did not read what I wrote, did not understand what I was arguing or chose to completely ignore my argument. Rather than argue with the point I made you are merely repeating what you stated previously.

I watched some of the first episode. As you say, it features the actual people involved in the investigation, often sitting in front of the camera themselves talking about what happened or talking over the re-enactment. I stand by my original decision to count Deadly Secrets as a documentary.

Thank you for taking the time to watch it, and make an accurate decision based on what you watched. Iโ€™m sorry so much drama was caused. That wasnโ€™t the intention.

Obviously you are trying to cause problems. This should be a fun challenge but all you are doing its nitpicking at anything @snowy does. I have lived many years longer than you and have a lot more life experience then you so nothing you do will upset me but you need to leave my daughter alone. What kind of person sets out to purposefully hurt others. Anyway I was excited to do this challenge for @box to support him. So even if you challenge everything I watch I will still be watching to support him because that it what matters.

David has nothing to do with this challenge. Ballz is running it and I am paying for it. Who do you think you are? You really don't want to start getting personal on here, I put a roof over your daughters head, fed her, my wife did her laundry and dishes. I let her trash a whole room in my house and instead of paying me rent she went out to eat and bought her self things. Please don't even go there.

If you are truly hurt by this (you not following the spirit of the challenge), then you have bigger issues than me. I'm in no way trying to cause problems, in fact I'm trying to prevent them. It is the bending of rules like this that had Markus not even wanting to participate.

I also never brought up or talked to Halley about this. I responded to you directly and she is the one who interjected herself. So what do you mean "leave her alone"?

I was not getting personal. I was talking about your comments on here. I am wise enough to know there is no point arguing with people like you. When you are someone who seems to only see your argument and refuse to see any one elseโ€™s argument. So you go on with whatever you want to do and I will go about my life.

You used people's real names that is about as personal as it gets here. And I see your arguement, I just disagree. I discussed is with the challenge mod and he agreed with me. If the only way you will concede that someone listened to your arguement is that that deffer to you than you are simply arrogant. Which would explain your daughters complete lack of ability to accept she is wrong or take no for an answer. (All problems that drove my wife to convincing me to kick her out and that led to a hole getting punched in one of my walls out of frustation)

If your username is any indication of your age then it is safe to say that you have not lived many years longer than I have. Don't throw your age around as proof of how wise and experienced you are.

Hope Der is around for the War challenge but he hasn't signed up. I'm looking to you to give me some competition as not sure Box and Snowy will watch that many.

Thanks for hosting this and congrats to Der emoticon.

When you say you do not know a lot, do you mean if you had some recommendations you would try to watch a few more?

Yes. I have found some that I am excited to watch, but I only have three movies lined up. So recommendations will definitely help. I am not one that actively seeks out war movies, so I just dont know where to start.
