A post in the Challenge thread got me thinking about this, plus I watched Deadline last night, which qualifies...

...so what are some horror films that feature other, unknown/fabricated films or films made specifically as part of the plot device for the film in which they appear. E.G. in Deadline one of the films that is currently being produced is not an actual film that I'm aware of, and in the film Found there is a fabricated (but then subsquently released) film "Headless".

...any others? And if this post doesnt make sense it's because it's 5:43am and I haven't had coffee yet emoticon

DK was my favorite band in high school... well them and the English Beat I'd say.
Saw Mudhoney in Philly also (I believe at the Trocadero). Plus I got to see Gibby Hanyes at the same club hoist a flaming guitar over his head and chuck it into the rest of the band equipment... not too smart, Haynes!

Oh, duh. Can't believe I forgot: The Video Dead. The zombies from a cheesy old zombie movie come out of a television and terrorize a neighborhood.

i've never been able to asertain whether the werewolf flick Brigitte is shown to watch in Ginger Snaps was a real thing or not.

several good ones in Popcorn.

Late Night Double Feature was a sort of mini anthology, a story of a television Horror show. it played both of the "films" they aired in their entirety, spliced in with the "behind the scenes" story.
