I saw he was cast, but I didn't know it was for Toxie. The Dink has a history of ignoring his size though. In X-Men: Days of Future Past, he played Trask, which was a character formerly played by Bill Duke (a large black man). Then in Avengers: Endgame, he played a giant. Maybe they'll CGI him as a regular sized person, or maybe they were just kidding when they said they respected the property.

At least they're not making him a woman.

Actually, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they made Toxie's role secondary to Sarah, who is now a super badass Zatoichi-like character.

I still wish they would have gone with Steve Pink's remake with Schwarzenegger as Toxie's personal trainer, but alas, men... especially white men... are now the bane of society. Everything needs a racial or sexist twist. Or in this case, a size twist.

Marvel just released a slew of trailers for their Disney Plus lineup, and one of them is Marvel's What If, which can be summarized as "What if Captain America was a woman?!" and "What if Star Lord was black?!"

I'll ask a good what-if... What if someone actually asked those questions? What if someone actually gave a shit? What if they came up with an actual good what-if storyline that didn't involve being painfully PC?

Nah not officially confirmed, but it looks like a given. Personally I think he's a bit too "well known" to play Bond with roles like Mad Max, Venom, Bane, etc under his belt. I'd prefer it to go to someone a bit younger and less famous. I mean even most of the previous Bonds were not that famous until they actually became Bond, maybe with the exception of Roger Moore but even he wasn't really a movie star. Still, no doubt he will do a sterling job if the rumours are confirmed.

Am I the only one who was hoping he'd be playing Mayor Peter Belgoody? I could see them all deciding that it might be offensive to fat people to find another fat piece of shit to replace the old one, thinking people might find a sadistic midget more fun.
