Those ideas don't seem to connect.

I like certain christian websites, music, and movies. But no, I'm not christian.
Side note: One of my Christian cousins has always believed Criss Angel made a deal w/the devil.
True story.

I used to be, but am now just a normal Horror fan.

I don't get why any Christian would think anyone could actually make a deal with the devil. The Bible doesn't say one word about it being possible to become officially alligned with Satan. Although, anyone without Christ in their life is alligned with Satan by default, right?

Anal Alda made a deal with the Devil in "The Mephisto Waltz" brah, one of the better 1970s studio horrors. I'm not normally a fan of Anal Alda but he was excellent in this one.

This is Anal Alda in the infamous still where he wears a monkey mask:

I used to believe in christianity. I prayed every night and never did anything wrong, and I put my faith in "God", but what did that get me? Nothing. Sure, I'm still alive, but I've always felt that if God existed, he had me on ignore.

Now that I'm more apathetic about religion, I can be more hedonistic about jerking off and having dirty thoughts, and watching people get dismembered without feeling guilty.

I'am not a Christian but Christian music is Okay sometimes.
Anyways a messed up story and its 100% fact that in the Texas prison system where I was doing time for a drug and possession of a illegal firearm, that every Sunday when they had there so-called church service that all the so-called devil worshiper and satan groups where the ones always going to church.
I always thought that was funny as hell, basically it shows how they really believe in the devil doesn't it, they were always the same idiots who were getting there dumbasses beat down all the time by gangs here.
Anyways I know it has nothing to do with horror movies but I've always thought how fucking stupid people were who believed in the devil.

I'm gonna be straight up about this:

Christianity is downright ridiculous if you ask me. The bible is full of contradictions and just plain absurdity.

I have nothing against people who are Christians though, and no offense intended to those who are.

Anyhoo I think your post is excellent- you hit the nail right on the head, in a respectful way.

I have been a Christian since my youth, I was a poor kid and was raised by a single parent, there were good people that were good to me and my mom at the church we went to. I haven't been to church in years. I don't have a problem with faith. I do have judmental assholes, extremists and the Pat Robetson type of Christians.

I've never been a Christian or religious at all and am apathetic towards religion personally. A lot of it has to do with being raised in a secular household and just self discovery of not finding much sense in it all. While I'm an atheist, I'm not a nihilistic asshole who lacks morals or anything. I also don't have anything against those who are religious and practice their beliefs without discrimination or judgment; it's the extremist assholes who piss me off (atheists are guility of acting like this too). In spite of my apathy, my basic philosophy when it comes to religion is: Believe what makes sense to you, just don't be a dick about it.
