You can think my view is dumb. No worries. Everyone has different views and it's interesting for me to hear them. I personally think you telling a new mother to be wary of being shot in an American theater for wanting to take her baby with her was dumb. No reason to possibly incite fear into someone, especially a new mother. But hey, we all have different views and that's cool.

Easy now. It's perfectly valid for a mother to bring a kid to a movie theater... so long as she puts a muzzle on it.

You wouldn't be allowed to take a baby into an '18' certificate film like Scream VI here in the UK, thank goodness. I am glad we don't have the R certificate where kids or under-18s are still allowed in. It's reassuring you can go and enjoy a movie orientated towards adults in peace.

Eh, I just usually went on weekdays in the afternoon when no one else was really there. Going to the movies kinda sucks nowadays anyway. I like being cozy at home watching a new movie.

The maturity level of the minor makes a big difference. If a young kid can remain composed and non-disruptive, I don't see an issue with it. But absent-minded lolly-gaggers by no means should be allowed in. Probably not even into children's movies.

That's why I usually hate going to watch '12A' certificate (PG-13) movies here. Usually full of gangs of said absent-minded lolly-gaggers. However, having two young kids of my own, it's not always a choice of whether I want to or not. Thankfully they fall into the "mature minor" category.

I don't really mind kids in a theater. It's bringing them on airplanes that annoy the hell out of me.
