I'm confused by some people thinking being woke isn't an issue in Hollywood. If it's not, why are they giving parts to black actors to play historically white people? Why is a black woman now playing Anne Boleyn? Why did a black man play the part of Thomas Jefferson in a play? How does that make sense? How do you think "woke" people would react if a white person was cast to play Martin Luther King Jr. ?

Yeah only historical figures. I don't think any other race aside from that person's race should portray that person. It make no sense to me.

Now, people that get upset over the new Little Mermaid, or Tinkerbell, or any other made up character not being white... well they aren't REAL characters!! Who TF cares what color skin a make believe character has. UNLESS ithat character is specifically written to be a certain race. Why change it?

You can think my view is dumb. No worries. Everyone has different views and it's interesting for me to hear them. I personally think you telling a new mother to be wary of being shot in an American theater for wanting to take her baby with her was dumb. No reason to possibly incite fear into someone, especially a new mother. But hey, we all have different views and that's cool.

Eh, I just usually went on weekdays in the afternoon when no one else was really there. Going to the movies kinda sucks nowadays anyway. I like being cozy at home watching a new movie.

I don't really mind kids in a theater. It's bringing them on airplanes that annoy the hell out of me.

And yeah my views do lean more towards conservative, but I am very anti gun. I hate them, but I understand that people have the right to own them.
