The fact that this movie exists is wonderful. It's a big middle finger to Disney, and they deserve it. When you get around to watching the actual movie, you'll find it's a very mixed bag. I was just thinking about something from the Douglas Adams book Life, The Universe, And Everything. There's a part about a guy named Prak who was supposed to be some kind of witness in a big legal case. They gave him a truth serum to ensure that he didn't BS them, and they made him swear to tell "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." This is a pretty new clown/slasher movie that came onto netflix recently, and it had a bit of hype to it, so I went for it. It's got a throwback look to it, excessive gore, decent characters, and of course... one hell of a villain.

It's an early-ish Wes Craven movie, and, um.... well, it's complicated. It's hard to know exactly what to say about it.

Not too bad for a fan-made unofficial spin-off of Pulp Fiction.

The film shows a couple days in the life of Zed, Maynard, and the gimp, leading up to their confrontation with Butch and Marsellus. There's not a ton of plot here. It's basically just someone shows up to the pawn shop, gets killed, repeat. But it's a quick 70 minutes. It's gory and trashy, and the lead actors seem to be having fun with it.

If you don't know who Brother Theodore was, you are in for a treat. He has a Wikipedia entry. It is impossible to really explain or describe what he did, but, just give him a chance.. here, watch this, and trust me, it just gets crazier and crazier as it goes along.

Showtime used to be cool back in the day, but now they suck ass. Paramount acquiring them is a downgrade for Paramount, much like HBO acquiring Discovery was a downgrade. I don't understand that one, because that only lead to some convoluted fuckery and show cancellations, but what do I know? Not like I even watch half the shit that's on either one of these platforms, but all these murders and executions^{mergers and acquisitions} are annoying.

Can you believe it's been 10 years since this movie came out? This series is as old as I am, so I must overthink these things. Fiona Dourif (born 1981) plays Nica (born 1988), and is thus supposed to be 25 in the movie. So I was 25 when this came out. God, I miss my 20s. I didn't do much with them, but I sure did love being more resiliant in those years. And it had only been 8 years without a Chucky movie and I'd already thought this franchise was dead...

Aside from a few exceptions, I firmly believe movies ought to make sense.
