I really liked this sci-fi horror. Dark, creepy and surprisingly unpredictable.

Because let's face it, that's the most interesting part about the superbowl to those who don't give a shit about sports, so what have we gotten out of it so far?

Indy 5 looks all right. It looks like Karen Allen is coming back, and Indy is still fighting Nazis. What more do you need? He's still got it.

Not too bad for a fan-made unofficial spin-off of Pulp Fiction.

The film shows a couple days in the life of Zed, Maynard, and the gimp, leading up to their confrontation with Butch and Marsellus. There's not a ton of plot here. It's basically just someone shows up to the pawn shop, gets killed, repeat. But it's a quick 70 minutes. It's gory and trashy, and the lead actors seem to be having fun with it.

I don't know how this one slipped by me. It feels like something I should have seen over 10 years ago. I think I may have got its title confused with Rush Week and thought I already saw it.

If you don't know who Brother Theodore was, you are in for a treat. He has a Wikipedia entry. It is impossible to really explain or describe what he did, but, just give him a chance.. here, watch this, and trust me, it just gets crazier and crazier as it goes along.

Showtime used to be cool back in the day, but now they suck ass. Paramount acquiring them is a downgrade for Paramount, much like HBO acquiring Discovery was a downgrade. I don't understand that one, because that only lead to some convoluted fuckery and show cancellations, but what do I know? Not like I even watch half the shit that's on either one of these platforms, but all these murders and executions^{mergers and acquisitions} are annoying.

Can you believe it's been 10 years since this movie came out? This series is as old as I am, so I must overthink these things. Fiona Dourif (born 1981) plays Nica (born 1988), and is thus supposed to be 25 in the movie. So I was 25 when this came out. God, I miss my 20s. I didn't do much with them, but I sure did love being more resiliant in those years. And it had only been 8 years without a Chucky movie and I'd already thought this franchise was dead...

Aside from a few exceptions, I firmly believe movies ought to make sense. It should be the second rule of filmmaking right behind entertainment value, or in some cases, interesting subject matter, depending on the genre. F9, the ninth entry in this fucking ridiculous series. Do people really love it as much as they think they do? I think Vin is mediocre at best, and none of the rest of the main cast are particularly A-listers that can sell a movie outside of these nostalgia-ridden teamup efforts. Rand (Seth Rogen) is a carpenter who Tommy Lee (Sebastian Stan) gives the runaround and refuses to pay him for his work, which really screws him over financially. This was a pretty interesting episode, from 1976. They could have gotten a whole movie out of it. In fact, it may have influenced some horror movies that came after it aired... see what you think.
