Dead Leaves (1998) would be my favorite of this challenge, by a small margin.

I thought it was excellent, Znep, really great. Poetic, and haunting - that basically is like a road movie. Exceedingly obscure, and most definitely worth a watch imo.

Have you seen Night of the Scarecrow (1995) ? - another good scarecrow flick imo that I seen this month that you may like.

I am glad you liked Sole Survivor, Foz. It is a pity it isn't more well-known.
