I remember watching The Devil's Rain on tv a lot, and that was an awesomely weird desert horror story. Ernest Borgnine was the man! And everyone melts at the end for several minutes.

And Captain Kronos would have been a great series if it took off. I thought that movie was the coolest when I saw it on AMC (same channel I watched Devils Rain). I'm very happy to say that I met Caroline Munro at a convention a few years back, and she's aged rather well.

One could argue that Brain Damage is part of the Henenlotter continuity, seeing as how Duane and his basket cameo in the film.

And while I've never seen any of the "sequels", I know there are at least 2 bastardized Italian cannibal knock-offs that call themselves "Cannibal Holocaust 2".

The only reason Shaun of the Dead might not count is because it's part of the unofficial "cornetto" trilogy. Otherwise, it is an original story. Sure, it pays homage to Dawn with the title and some music, but its story is otherwise entirely different. It came out the same year as the Dawn remake, and that movie was garbage. Shaun is gold though.
