Couldn't get into Absentia. Thought it would be my kind of movie. Just had a student film vibe...

Don't think I've seen any of the others. Looks like I've got some catching up to do as far as recent horror.

I have to sit and think about this one. I watch tons of them for the OHC every year, but mostly because they're so readily available on streaming services. They don't really stand out. But here some of the more notable ones:

Not really sure if this is a favorites list or just a list of movies I liked. I liked them all, just never ranked movies from this decade before. None come close to getting to my top 10, maybe even top 30.

I generally loathe found footage. The leaps in logic they have to go through to create a narrative are usually too wide for me to get over. But Creep 2 got around that nicely. I thought Creep was OK, and maybe because I was expecting more of the same, Creep 2 really wowed me.
