I missed last week so this one is for the past two weeks.

I got Eye in the Labyrinth and The Intruder from Diabolik DVD the other day. I haven't gotten to watch The Intruder yet but looking forward to it. I've already seen Eye in the Labyrinth on YouTube several years ago and liked it, so as soon as I found out there was a Blu ray I ordered it. Watched it last night and it looks good, though there are no extras on it. From my experience Code Red never does much in terms of special features but they always do a nice job restoring the movies.

I've never seen Scream Pretty Peggy or Vigilante. Are they worth checking out?

Pretty sure I saw The Big Racket but can't remember much about it. I didn't really like Bay of Blood but the rest are all pretty good.

I enjoyed both. Scream, Pretty Peggy is a TV movie featuring Bette Davis. Had some creepy moments. Vigilante is a William Lustig flick featuring Fred Williamson and Robert Forster, as well as Joe Spinell in a small role. If you like any of Lustig's other work, I imagine you'd like Vigilante too.

I had pre-ordered the Sheena, Queen of the Jungle - movie/TV Series set and it arrived last week. Pleasant surprise since I had even forgotten ordering it and the price dropped so it was about 4 bucks cheaper than expected.

I don't think I watched any horror except for a few hybrids for the Sci/Fi challenge.

I never saw that series but I'm pretty sure the girl who played Sheena is the same girl who was in the movie She Demons. She was pretty hot if I remember correctly.

I haven't seen the series either but Sheena has always appealed to my animal instincts.

Rented the docu American Farm (2005)

Lanny Ames is a 5th generation dairy farmer, but time and health have caught up with him and none of his grown kids are interested in running the farm.

It sounds depressing I know, but its really not. Its a good history and revealing look at an loving farm family in upstate New York. His daughter ends up moving into her grandma's place, the very original farmhouse on the property.

Lots of great scenes of snow coming down and blizzard-like conditions, big tractors chugging along ( and getting stuck in a snow ditch, snowy scenes, a calf being born.
The family at Christmas and history of how everyone including ancestors met their future wife or husband and started out a new family.
I give it 8 out of 10.
