Nice list! Audition is one of my favorites, albeit a bit slow at times. It's one I've been trying to get Troma to watch. I Saw the Devil is another one that I love. Thanks for posting this!

do love Audition, was my intro to miike & we watched blind, so had no idea what to expect. halfway through i was kinda bored thinking it was rom-drama black comedy deal, then it gets... well you know!

I think that's the great thing about Audition - the fact it's half rom-com, and this is why I think it has it's fair share of detractors who are often bored by it. And then you have those at the opposite end that criticise it as nothing but "torture porn". Anyway, as soon as you get to that scene with her waiting by the telephone, with the sack in the background..

Memories is fantastic, shamefully i'd never seen until a year or so ago, may use the challenge for a rewatch excuse, deserves one.

No I haven't but I think I will get one .

it has replaced imdb for me, there is more of a social aspect where you follow 'friends' to see reviews lists etc, and they have thier own challenges too. Klownz of trash epics/horror board fame is on there & watches a ton of Asian horror.

Also if you use Discord there are a couple of film communities i'm in that use lbxd.
