I thought the first film was an alright, bleak chainsaw massacre rip-off. The second film was a lot more over-the-top in gore and somewhat funny. Now... we've got a web series in the works with John Jarratt (Mick Taylor) and Greg McLean (writer/director of both films) returning.

I'm down for some more Wolf Creek, and I'm glad John Jarratt seems to enjoy playing a psycho this much, because he's good at it! So does anyone care? We have at least 3 users from and around Australia, so maybe it's relevant to them?

I was hitchhiking a lot in NSW, Victoria when the backpacker murders were happeneing ~1993 that Wolf Creek was based on, never met the dude unforutunately though IIRC I only got picked up by a truck a couple of times. Maybe he did pick me up but chickened out, Ive had a few rides where dodgy things have happened and ppl have chickened out (the benifits of being a nut I spose)

yeah thats the guy, hes doesnt look familiar though I prolly didnt have a ride with him, then again so long ago. I've had some unusual rides in my time, I've offered some french dude a spare bedroom this weekend (couchsurfing) waiting for him to get back to me (I should jump in there whilst hes sleeping with a huge knife screaming, freak the mother out)
thats in response to this story you may of seen

seems like the dude doesnt know how to hitchhike, I see novices here all the time, ppl standing in the wrong spot etc
