It's something to consider. There are a lot of angles to it that I need to cover in the scripts, but I might be able to pop out something halfway decent. I'm thinking upload the list, parse it to sync it to the titles in this database (and if it's not on here, add it to a list , let the user review and/or change certain votes, and then make it happen.

But I'd also think that saving the lists would be a good idea, in the case that TE were to eventually adds the titles later, they'd still be in the csv file and could still be used. We wouldn't want to auto-add any titles in those lists, because it's easy to change values in a csv file. So yeah, a lot of angles for me to figure, but I'll be thinking on it.

Politics can run deep. I've been on sites before and after 5 or 9 years of being the solid contributor (Like over 10,000 post a year and 5th most all time posts still today) thing got wierd. Around 2015 people started leaving because alot of us, me included were very vocal about our political view. This lead to others speaking out in disagreement and, as in most cases, the side who had the people who ran the cabal win. I was not on the side and I found myself at the throats of people whom I'd considered friends for almost a decade and had even met up with and had 25-40 people gatherings in real life. I mean people would fly in from Austrailia, Germany, and the UAE, to Dallas, Texas just to hand out for 3-5 days. Sadly, non of that mattered when politics entered our lives. As an aside, I think this happened in many aspects of people lives: work, school, family and yes, the internet. It was probably 3 or 4 months before the 2016 election that the bans started coming down. Things certian mods disagreed with suddenly became "hate speach"; friends became "Nazis" or "Libtards" or "HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU A FUCKING SOCIALIST!?". People we knew by name and face reduced to labels and idiologies. The wierd thing is though that in a way noticing the political divide between us and all of the discomfort and choas both sides insued made all of us get more of a life outside the site. For some that was another site. For the remaining dicatorship there it was a focus on renewing and reangling the site, and for people like myself it was an excuse to stop being an adict of the internet. People grow up, sometimes they have to and sometimes they are dragged by the coattail into doing so. So my point here is, that some people, most likely a lot of people, felt the distructive force in their lives in someway. Probably not on this site. Most felt it from within their true inner-circles. However, when it came up here, as it did many other places a lot of people probably did just leave and fill the void. So many of us are just so sick of the divisivness that we would rather just not post or exists here at all. It's a hard thing to convince someone not to be scared of being attacked once they are. If we want to turn this arround we are going to have to be more accepting and inviting. I'm not talking censorship, just self awareness. From me, and from everyone. We have something special here, but it is only as good as we can make it and maintain it to be. It's not about the features (although keep them coming @Box they are great), but it's about the people and how we treat each other.

I havent been around a lot in the last few years as my daughter was born in 2016 and I just had my second one earler this month. Also a lot of my online time has gone to 80's toys sites. As I am a big collector of GI Joe and other things. My movie watching and related things have taken a hit becuase of both those things.

Me and my buddy since childhood( known since we were 4 yrs old ridding Big Wheels) do the same. Scouring E-Bay auctions for toys and sports cards and memorabilia from our childhood. Flipping some stuff making scores while holding onto others. Everything from comics to action figures to Nintendo game/watch games like Mario's Cement Factory. Fun hobby...thrill of the hunt and making scores after when we sell.

Hehe those are things I'm nostalgic about too not just 80s toys but since I inherited as a kid toys from my much older sisters my interest also goes to 70s or even older things. There is He-Man/She-Ra and also vintage Lego even dolls. I just love to display toys from my childhood. Furthermore comics, some books and of course movies.

I wasn't really a long time user of imdb so even coming to TE I was fairly new, still am and genuinely love the board even if politics sometimes bogged it down in the past but it was a minor inconvenience really.

I stopped everything around June last year because my life turned into frankly Fucksville. A mess of gigantic proportions, never saw what was coming my way and it just messed me up so damn much.

Been dealing with this perpetual misery and really trying to dig myself out of the hole I ended up in. Even tried to kill myself, being in a mess I just wasn't in a fit state to be online so it's been a long messy break and I'm only just coming back online now little by little. Probably the only place (TE) online where I feel can vent properly

It's good to see you back, and I'm glad you didn't perish. I think a lot of us have been in a funk lately. I know I have. Life catches up with you in the weirdest ways, and it becomes difficult to do things that used to be so easy, such as spending all day on the internet.

A bit of both. Anything is preferential to the last year that's passed tho I'm still hoping I avoid as much drama as I can which means I won't but online is a nice escape from it all.
