I watched it yesterday. I didn't care for it, really. It was a sci-fi dystopian future film, but nothing seemed to stand out about it. Was there any unique technology? Not really. The stakes never seemed too high, since they could easily outrun their sandman pursuers, who were lousy shots most of the time. And don't get me started about that cheese-grater / C3PO in the ice cave. How threatening was that? I was hoping Michael York would've just tipped him over. Then, he'd be fucked.

I also watched "The Belko Experiment" the other day, in which they had bombs implanted in the back of people's heads. Why didn't they put bombs in their runners if they wanted to keep them all compliant?

Subpar 70s sci-fi. While they were walking on the beach, I was hoping to see that damn fallen statue of liberty. Or at least the Ape Lincoln monument. I've still got apes on the brain, if you can't tell. Nothing compares to a good ape-ocalypse.
