...or perhaps winning picks. Whatever the case may be. I am typically like Even Steven in this game.

My 30-1 shot just finished 2nd in the Woody Stephens, so I cover some bets with my WPS wager.

In the Met Mile I've got Awesome Slew, and hopefully alive to either Tapwrit or Multiplier in the Belmont.
The winner of the turf sprint probably broke the world's record, but they're reviewing the time.
It's a good day to be at Belmont!

edit: official world's record: https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/222066/disco-partner-wins-jaipur-in-world-record-time These guys are FAST!

Ugh...I went to the Belmont Stakes in 99 and there were 120,000 people there. There and then I said never again...hate crowds like that packed like sardines. Tapwrit won so guessing you made out Peeps, sweet.

In 99 when I went Lemon Drop Kid upset a horse I can't recall who was trying to win the Triple Crown who was ridden by Chris Antsly...who mysteriously died/murdered a few weeks later. Belmont is a great park to hang out and play on a regular day but Stakes Day is another story. I only live around 12 miles away. Aquaduct is the absolute worst...Saratoga the best.

Ah Charismatic...thank you Peeps, was on my way to work on the smartphone and couldn't Google it between texts rolling in waves at the time. The only other track I've been to was Monmoth besides the ones mentioned. If Aquaduct didn't add the casino there a couple of years ago it woulda went under for sure. They couldn't get an attendance of 500 most days before then!

Damn Peeps...9:00 post time, talk about keeping a douche like me in suspense! Just placed a $50 W/P wager in. Good luck to us...I'd love to take down a 4/5 favorite!

I'm a big boy and looked into it myself...You didn't put a gun to my head and say "MAKE THE PLAY"! I said to myself that's a smart spot to pick. I like smart spots so lets hope for the best and hope things go our way....OR ELSE! Jk there at the end.

No worries...like I said in chatbox, I played the chalky exacta in the next race and got close to Even Steven anyways. I think you were right though she lost steam down the stretch. Odds dropped to 7/2 at post time so was disappointed especially since at the end of 6th race she was holding at 6-1...some whale must of entered the situation and lost a bundle. Anyways we'll get em next time.

Peeps look out for Hertler trained longshots on the turf exclusively at the Spa.

Nevin on the turf ain't a bad longshot bet either, trainer wise him and Hertler pay huge as unknowns at the Spa...about 5 years ago I made a huge score wheeling Hertler for the exacta and that knak came in paying $88 to win...the exacta paid close to $400 only cause the fav placed. Nevin is huge across the pond.

Got Hertler on the turf at The Spa for Race 10.
#1 Reconsider it $10 W/P

No show $ 4 W/P bets. Next time plus she didn't have good racing luck by being blocked in and making the move to the outside...next time.

Hit a huge exacta today in the 4th race...went with a Mott trained $5 exacta box and the longer shot Trumpi won paying $47 to win. Had him for $5 across the board too. Always bombadiers float in on the turf at the Spa. Was at Mohegan Sun and picked up a nickel in the poker room also so not a bad days work all in all.
