The Blob remake wasn't set in 1958! (Was it?) Damn good remake though. Probably more fun than the original. There are a few decent remakes out there, but for every good one, there are 6 to 18 bad ones. My faves would be My Bloody Valentine and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Nah, I actually never saw the 70s version. Just the '58 version (which was okay), and the '88 version (which was more than okay).

The F13 remake (which could theoretically pass as a sequel), is definitely flawed, but it could've been a lot worse. Derek Mears was a great Jason, that's for damn sure. If only it was less polished and had a Harry Manfredini score, it would've been great.

I haven't even heard any talk of it lately, but rather that dumbass sounding show they're (probably not) working on. You know, the one they want to put on the CW, where they can't have gore or nudity? And where Jason wont even be in it? Yeah, that turkey...
