We should do some kind of thread about him. If he doesn't get a little love here, then where will he? I mean, come on. I am in a rush right now, but if anybody thinks of any good stuff to post about him, please do.
I mean... yeah, it was boring. I can't sugar coat it. It would probably be a lot better if Timmee wasn't in it. Put Danny Devito in his place and the movie would be loads better.
I haven't seen the movie in decades, but I'm pretty sure Danny and Arnold had a love affair going on in Junior.
I wish they would re-team already. It's been fucking forever (and no, we don't need a Twins sequel). They should do that Batman Beyond movie and bring back Penguin and Freeze. That would sell tickets.
Look I understand, there's bad films I grew up with that I love. BaR was probably on all the time while you were growing up. Nostalgia bait. Wanna watch a bad Arnie film I love? Raw Deal 1986.
I think you're misunderstanding me. I fucking HATE Batman & Robin. Even when I left theaters as a kid, with Arnold being my favorite movie star ever, I thought it was over-the-top stupid in an embarrassingly bad way.
Raw Deal is a masterpiece in comparison. You should not drink and bake.
Well arnie was pregnant in that wasn't he, heres one scene that didn't make the final cut.
Thats some great acting by danny, hes like what have I done, I'm too old to raise a kid now.
Arnies like we've been trying for years and I feel this might me the time
I (re-)watched Humanoids From the Deep last night. That's a good start, on re-acquainting myself with his stuff. Very trashy, very epic. I loved all the mayhem towards the end, in that prolonged siege of the town by the creatures.
Really sorry to hear about his passing. I almost always found Corman's movies to be pretty enjoyable. A lot of typical horror schlock for the times, which were great in their own right, but also some genuinely and surprisingly interesting films here and there like Bloody Mama, Last Woman On Earth and Swamp Women. Still discovering some I haven't seen. I just watched one earlier on the Youtube called Sorority Girl (1957), which was really good. Trying to think of one to watch tonight. The Saga of the Viking Women and Their Voyage to the Waters of the Great Sea Serpent is always fun.
