All FTV unless noted.

January
1/1: Neverland (2011) 6/10 An interesting take on the Peter Pan story.
1/2: The Guilt Trip (2012) 6/10 Road trip with your mom. Touching ending.
1/3: Hannibal Rising (2007) 6/10 HL was as messed up as a teenager as he was when he got older.
1/8: They Are Among US (2004) 4/10 Had possibilities, but wasn't fully realized.
1/9: Paranormal Entity (2009) 4/10 Paranormal Activity meets The Entity. But they didn't like each other.
1/16: Elegy (2008) 6/10 Enjoyed it probably more than I should have.
1/17: The Ugly (1997) 6/10 Not what I expected, which was a good thing.
1/21: Eragon (2006) 5/10 I told a friend way back when that they were actually ragons, and that the first letter was the generation. So after the Dragon came the Eragon. He bought it.
1/22: Visitors (2003) 6/10 Psychological drama that was pretty damn good.
1/23: The Undertaker and His Pals (1966) 3/10 I'm ashamed of my birth year.
1/23: I Bury the Living (1958) 5/10 Not really my cup of tea.
1/23: Angel and the Badman (1947) 7/10 Trying to catch up on my John Wayne.
1/23: All Quiet on the Western Front (1979) 7/10 What a depressing but not surprising ending.
1/24: I, Robot (2004) 7/10 I saw where some robot company plans to mass produce their humanistic robots this year. Beginning of the end, baby!
1/24: The Pirates (2014) 7/10 Pretty well put together with a lot of action and humor. A little longer than it needed to be, however.
1/27: Territory 8 (2013) 2/10 Nothing really stands out in this film.
1/28: Dead End (2003) 6/10 Another one of those films that isn't quite what it looks like, but ties together nicely in the end.
1/29: Andrea Perron: House of Darkness House of Light (2013) 5/10 If interested in the background to the movie The Conjuring, might be worth a look.
1/30: Future World (2018) 5/10 Standard post-apocalyptic fare, but with a hot female android.
1/31: The Spiral Staircase (1945) 7/10 One of those films that I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't seen yet.
1/31: Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014) 6/10 Took a while to get going, but once it did I enjoyed it.

February
2/1: Cult of Chucky (2017) 5/10 Probably would have understood it more if I watched Curse of Chucky first.
2/1: Zombieland: Double Tap (2019) 7/10 ALMOST as much fun as the original. The doppelganger were enjoyable.
2/3: 3 from Hell (2019) 6/10 I describe it as kind of like Vacation, only not quite as funny a little more gory.
2/4: Suspiria (2018) 7/10 Pretty enjoyable remake/update.
2/5: 42 (2013) 8/10 Never really been a baseball fan.
2/6: Antebellum (2020) 5/10 Interesting idea for a movie. Would have much better without all the woke nonsense.
2/6: The Hole (2001) 6/10 Another of those not what I expected it to be movies. And again, to its benefit.
2/6: The Nameless (1999) 6/10 Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
2/6: The Six Degrees of Helter Skelter (2009) 8/10 Always been fascinated with Manson, how he got people to do all that stuff.
2/7: Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest (1995) 4/10 Parts of the original were filmed not too far from where I live.
2/7: Mortuary (2005) 5/10 A lot more blood than I expected. Not the greatest ending.
2/7: Ritual (2002) 5/10 I honestly don't remember anything about it.
2/7: They (2002) (5/10) The only night terror I ever had was when I woke hungover and found out who was in bed with me.
2/8: L.A. Slasher (2015) 3/10 When I looked at the DVD cover, my first thought was "What an ugly chic."
2/8: Swimfan (2002) 6/10 I was a pretty weak swimmer when I joined the Navy. My skills haven't improved much.
2/9: Beyond a Reasonable Doubt 6/10 I thought this was tied in with the TV series Reasonable Doubt when I saw the title.
2/11: Hellhounds (2009) 4/10 Basically Hercules.
2/11: Who Killed Doc Robbin? (1948) 5/10 SJWs should not watch. A couple of pretty racist things in there, but was 1940s era humor.
2/12: Cold Ground (2017) 6/10 That cold ground ain't got nothin' on what we had here. Two record-breaking lows of -28 degrees last week.
2/12: The Snarling (2018) 4/10 I quick-read the title and thought it was about a bird.
2/13: Edge of Darkness (2010) 7/10 Nobody dies like Mel Gibson.
2/13: The Lady Vanishes (1938) 7/10 Another of those movies I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't seen yet.
2/14: Blue Steel (1934) 6/10 John Wayne gets into a fist fight, and at the end gets engaged.
2/14: The Dawn Rider (1935) 6/10 John Wayne gets into a fist fight, and at the end gets married.
2/14: The Desert Trail (1935) 6/10 John Wayne gets into a fist fight, and at the end gets married. (I'm sensing a pattern in his older movies...)
2/14: The Lawless Frontier (1934) 5/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) married.
2/15: Buried Alive (1939) 6/10 Paired on a DVD with I Bury the Living. But this one is a prison flick. Better than I expected.
2/16: Offspring (2009) 6/10 Reading the title made me think of the movie The Warriors. (It works, if you really think about it.)
2/17: Moon of the Wolf (1972) 6/10 The DVD description says it has a very unusual ending. Perhaps they meant unusual in the way its like a lot of other werewolf movies?
2/18: Branded (2012) 4/10 Leelee Sobieski looks a LOT like a young Helen Hunt.
2/18: The Lucky Texan (1934) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) married.
2/19: The Man from Utah (1934) 5/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) married.
2/19: The Swiss Conspiracy (1976) 4/10 It took 89 minutes to get nowhere.
2/20: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) 6/10 The whole "I can see eveything" shtick wore thin in this sequel.
2/21: Funny Games (2007) 6/10 They took an 85 minute movie and stretched it to 111 minutes. "Only Love Pads the Film."
2/21: Killers from Space (1954) 3/10 I especially like how the killers brought a man back from the dead and managed to kill no one.
2/21: This Is Not a Test (1962) 6/10 Not the ending I was expecting at all.
2/23: Wendigo (2001) 6/10 Pretty tight little psychological thriller.
2/24: 11:11 (2004) 6/10 I apparently enjoyed it a lot more than the IMDB average said I should.
2/26: The Star Packer (1934) 5/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) married... and has a kid!
2/26: The Trail Beyond (1934) 7/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) doesn't get engaged OR married!
2/27: Hell Town (1937) 7/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) engaged. This one wasn't a Lone Star Production film, which tended to be pretty formulaic.
2/27: 'Neath the Arizona Skies (1934) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) engaged.
2/27: Paradise Canyon (1935) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) engaged.
2/27: Sarah's Choice (2009) 5/10 John Wayne... Oh, this isn't a John Wayne movie. A woman has to decide whether or not to have an abortion. About what you'd expect.
2/28: Compliance (2012) 5/10 Would have worked much better as a short film. 90 minutes was about 40 minutes too long.

March
3/1: Jungle (2017) 7/10 Was this a wise movie to watch before heading back out to the PCT in a month?
3/2: Shattered Glass (2003) 7/10 I have vague recollections about this story when it broke. Really good movie, by the by.
3/3: See No Evil (2006) 5/10 I was a big NWO fan back in the 90s heyday of the WCW.

3/5: Unknown World (1933) 4/10 I kept looking for the silhouettes at the bottom of the screen.
3/7: Rainbow Valley (1935) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) makes out with the hot chic.
3/7: Riders of Destiny (1933) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) makes out with the hot chic... and sings?
3/7: Sagebrush Trail (1933) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) makes out with the hot chic.
3/8: Texas Terror (1935) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) implied that he and the gal were bumping uglies for over two hours. You go, John!
3/8: Winds of the Wasteland (1936) 6/10 John Wayne outsmarts a crooked stagecoach line operator and helps bring a dead town back to life.
3/9: Chiller (1985) 5/10 The movie left me cold. (OK, call me Captain Obvious.)
3/10: Cool Air (2006) 6/10 Very Lovcraftian.
3/10: The Best Man (Unhitched) (2005) 5/10 Had a few good moments. I'm missing the correct chromosome to get the full enjoyment out of it.
3/11: Randy Rides Alone (1934) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) engaged.
3/11: West of the Divide (1924) 6/10 John Wayne (yadda-yadda-yadda) engaged.
3/11: The American West of John Ford (1971) 7/10 A retrospective of the directorial career of John Ford. With John Wayne, James Stewart and Henry Fonda.
3/12: 10 Years (2011) 6/10 The beautiful people stayed beautiful. And the dweebs stayed dweebs.
3/14: Three Golden Serpents (Island of Lost Girls) (1969) 5/10 A PI and his goofball he-man buddy PI try to find a kidnapped American girl.
3/14: Desert Command (2014) 4/10 A retelling of the The Three Musketeers, circa 1946. Edited John Wayne serial.
3/16: The Duchess (2008) 7/10 Even with two foot tall hair and two foot wide hips, Keira Knightley is hot.
3/16: Pitch Perfect (2012) I ended up with a bunch of DVDs, and this was among them. Not the type of movie I enjoy, but it was next in the pile.
An absolutely fucking shocking 7/10.
3/17: The Fatal Hour (1940) 5/10 If I didn't know better, I would swear this was a Torchy Blane film.
3/17: Dead Men Walk (1943) 4/10 When the production budget can't afford a set vampire fangs, you know the budget is low.
3/18: Playing for Keeps (2012) 5/10 IMDB had Sports listed as a sub-genre. I didn't see any sports, but I did see some soccer.
3/19: Ninja Cheerleaders (2008) 6/10 Don't get mixed up and watch Cheerleader Ninjas.
3/19: 3:10 to Yuma (1957) 7/10 Glenn Ford was smoother than butter as Ben Wade.
3/22: My Sister's Keeper (2009) 7/10 My sister's keeper lives on Talos IV.
3/23: Source Code (2011) 6/10 I really hated that episode of ST:TNG where the crew was stuck in a time loop.
3/27: House of the Damned (1996) 4/10 Poor Alexandra Paul. She will always be remembered as the flat-chested Baywatch girl.

April
4/3: Cloned: The Recreator Chronicles (2012) 5/10 I was worried when I saw the phrase "To Be Continued" at the end.
4/3: Retroactive (1997) 6/10 I was surprised at how well Jim Belushi was able to pull off crazy.
4/25: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) 5/10 Not sure if Adam West or Michael Keaton is my favorite Caped Crusader.
4/25: Everly (2014) 5/10 This movie had nothing to do with group that sang "Wake Up Little Susie."
4/26: Godzilla vs Kong (2021) 7/10 I thought I was special, seeing as how I got a private showing.
4/28: The Forgotten (2004) 6/10 That kid was kind of goofy looking, so I might have been like Goose and forget him, too.
4/28: Leap Year (2010) 6/10 RomCom that was actually kind of enjoyable. And no Mark Ruffalo in a RomCom?
4/28: Jack the Giant Slayer (2013) 6/10 Not to be confused with Buffy. She slayed vampires.
4/28: Live Animals (2008) 4/10 How can someone put a shirt on correctly with their hands tied together?
4/29: My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done (2009) 5/10 Kind of an artsy-fartsy flick with too much filler and weird still shots.
4/29: The Inheritance (2011) 3/10 I always thought his name was David Keith, not Keith David.
4/29: Torment (2013) 5/10 I've got a stuffed toy of my third favorite Looney Tunes character, Michigan J. Frog.
4/30: Dead & Breakfast (2004) 7/10 What a fun movie!

May
5/3: X2: X-Men United (2003) 7/10 I originally thought that the X-Men comics were some weird stories about gals who used to be guys. (OK, not really.)
