Are you really counting The Addams Family and Darkman for the challenge? Not that I give two shits, but I don't see any 'horror' tag for either of them. One's a family movie and one's a superhero movie.

I have no idea why wikipedia has the balls the call Darkman a horror film. I think they want to jump to that conclusion based on the director's previous movies, even though he really started to deviate from the genre at that point. Hell, Raimi hasn't really touched horror in ages. Drag Me to Hell doesn't count because it's horse shit, and he only directed one or so episodes of Ash vs. Evil Dead. He probably forgot what horror is by now...

Off the top of my head, I wouldn't be so quick to classify anything supernatural as horror, but going through lists of supernatural movies, they do tend to list a majority that are horror. I never really put two and two together, probably because I simply don't like supernatural stuff for the most part. I mean, I like the idea of it, but I find the execution of them often leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

With all that said, there are a few "family horror" movie types that aren't labeled as horror. What would you say about movies like Ernest Scared Stupid, Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Casper?
