Nail Gun Massacre aint bad! Weird seeing a movie start right in the middle of a rape scene.
The Ghost And Mr. Chicken kinda blows. Having Don Knotts more or less playing Barney Fife doesn't really work without the Andy Griffith Show writers. Can't think of a single movie he was in that I liked. What a waste.
Weird that IMDb has Fright Night listed as fantasy as well as horror. A little overrated, imo. Not that interesting to me.
A Polish Vampire In Burbank isn't the worst thing ever... even if it does remind me of Psychos In Love.
Almost forgot Ice Cream Man! I watched that the first day. I remember seeing that in the video store back in the 90's, and was always mildly curious, but never enough to pay a buck fifty for it. Thanks to the Amazon, I am curious no more. Even at a 3/10, it's still better than I thought.
So far, Italian Jaws ripoffs, Killer Crocodile and Killer Crocodile 2 are the most enjoyable FTVs I've been able to come up with...
Lady, Stay Dead was a good one. That's makes about a total of 3 Australian films I don't find painfully dull.
Of the 6 movies I watched last week starting with the word "the", The Lie was by far my favorite. Far-fetched as it may have been.
Ok, I'm done with Gaylows for the month. Probably much longer, tbh The Bird With The Crystal Plumage just wasn't that interesting to me.
Color Out Of Space turned out to be pretty amazing. Dragged for a while, but sweet ending. That Nic Cage sure is starting to win me over.
Full Moon's Vampire Journals is one of my favorite FTVs of the month. From the director of the Subspecies series. Supposed to be a prequel to it all, but not sure how...
