So I'm not feeling super creative lately, but I recently developed a nice frame work for a Command and Conquer like RTS system. My struggle has been thinking of good factions and good unique units for those factions. So I figured why not ask the community!
My basic idea is Trash People vs Stellas. Essentially Stellas (Hollywood Disco types) have taken over the world and a collection group of Trash People are waging a war to fight and take back the world in the name of Trash. The two sides will each have a couple of sub-factions with each sub-faction having one or more specialty units specific to them. Any ideas are welcome.

Ranged Infintry Individual Damage - Requires Barracks
Ranged Infintry AOE Damage - Requires Barracks
Basic Melle Infintry - Requires Barracks
Medic Infintry - Requires Barracks
Building Repair Infintry - Requires Barracks
Building Capture Infintry (Convert Enemy Building to Friendly Building) - Requires Barracks
Ranged Infintry Air Deffense - Requires Radar
Amphibious Infintry - Requires Tech Center and Dock
Anti Infintry Infintry - Requires Tech Center
Spy/Camoflage Unit (Can Still Other Factions Tech) - Requires Tech Center
Advanced Ranged Infintry (Each Faction a Different Type) - Requires Tech Center

Anti Vehicle Vehivle - Requires Tech Center
ExponentialDamage or AOE Vehicle - Requires Tech Center

Resource Gathering Unit - Requires Silo
Amphibious Transport - Requires Garage and Port

Anti Air Boat - Requires Dock

Anti Building Boat - Requires Dock and Tech Center
Special Faction Sea Unit - Requires Dock and Tech Center
Air Units:
Tranport Air Unit - Requires Hanger
Anti Infintry Air Unit - Requires Hanger
Bomber/Anti Building Air Unit - Requires Hanger
Special Faction Air Unit - Requies Tech Center
Buildings:
Power Plant - Each Building Uses Power This Provides It, If power is low some building won't work and others will produce units slower
Silo - Stores Resource, Requires Power Plant
Barracks - Trains Infintry Units, Requires Power Plant
Anti Infintri Turret - Requires Barracks
Garage - Trains Vehicles, Requires Barracks
Dock - Trains Sea Vehicles, Requires Barracks
Repair Shop - Repairs Vehicles, Requires Garage
Anti Vehicle Turret - Requies Garage
Radar - Enables Mini Map, Requires Garage
Anti Air Turret - Requires Radar
Tech Center - Requies Radar
Hospital - Heals Infintry, Requires Tech Center
