The county fair was this past week where I live so I got to thinking about fair-themed horror movies. The two main ones I can think of are The Funhouse and Strangers on a Train. Carnival of Souls maybe fits to a point, since it was centered around an abandoned amusement park.

There has to be many others I don't know about.

The anthology From a Whisper to a Scream has a segment set at a carnival about weirdos and glass-eaters. I'm sure there are plenty more out there, but that's all I got right now.

Hmmmm... I can think of many more that are carnival-based; can't think of any "fair" horrors right now... only excellent ones. emoticon

There's a few that I can't get the name of in my head. Ones I can remember are...

Dark Ride (2006)
Something Wicked This Way Comes? I know it's not horror horror but scared me as a kid.
The Funhouse Massacre (2015)
Final Destination - The one with the rollercoaster.

I don't know anything about the others but I thought Something Wicked This Way Comes was a horror movie. I haven't actually seen it but wasn't it billed as a horror movie?

you probably already considered and discounted these, because they are only partly set at a fair or carnival... but, whatever.

The Dead Zone
Darkman
The Return (2006)

I saw Dead Zone many years ago and I think you're right, part of it was at a fair or carnival. The others I haven't seen.

It's a terrible movie but I remember they do visit a fair in Zombieland.

Torture Garden, but the fair's only featured in the wraparound segment.
