I'm watching Casino and I really hate Sharon Stone's character in this. The epitome of a horrendous bitch! Sometimes, an actor can do such a good job at playing an unlikable character that you actually start to hate them in real life.

Who do YOU hate?

Lots of agreeably shitty characters in that list.

I don't hate: The snooty detective in GG Girls, the bastard uncle from F13-8, and Wayne.

I definitely hate: Liz Renay, Cheech's Red, FvJ's Jason, Genisys Reese.

I'm still waiting to see Hard Candy and The Next Karate Kid.

The Next Karate Kid ain't a bad movie but they made the mistake of making it part of the Karate Kid franchise. There is not that much karate in it. Hilary Swank is a more interesting character than Daniel-san though, much better developed. But despite Morita reprising his role as Miyagi and him mentioning Daniel shortly it really isn't a sequel to Karate Kid III. III was a horrible movie. I mean no return of Kumiko! Btw the videogame of Cobra Kai rocks.

I still want to see it, especially since there are rumors of Hilary Swank appearing on the show. I thought Part 3 was okay at best, but I definitely wouldn't call it horrible.

I would say especially Scream but then there's SLC Punk where he talked constantly from beginning to end. But still a better movie than Scream.

I second the detective from Gore Gore Girls. It's because of him I don't revisit the flick as much as I would like to.
And yeah Sheri Moon Zombie in pretty every movie she stars. She is the the worst example of nepotism from a director. At least Stuart Gordon cast his talented wife in support roles that fitted her.

That fucker is just an example of HGL's silly grampa humor. Those films are only funny when they're not trying to be, imo. When HGL tries to get cute, pretty cringy stuff.

I don't think many people have an issue with the wife being in every single RZ movie, but almost always having her as the main character and a "super cool chick" is dumb. Whatever he's trying to do there might have worked if it didn't seem so forced, and maybe if she had enough talent to get other roles like in OTHER people's movies occasionally.

Brian Dennehy's character in First Blood made me hate cops for many years.

Yeah, he's a bastard alright. I found him more annoying as the corrupt cop in Assault on Precinct 13 '05.

The first one that comes to mind is the mom's boss, at the department store, in the original Child's Play. I did a thread once somewhere, probably on the old IMDB board, about characters who don't die in horror movies, but SHOULD die. He was the inspiration for it. It's not like I walk around hating him all day long every day, thinking about what a bastard he is, but when I watch the movie I totally hate him).

I'll watch Child's Play later and see what you're talking about. I think it's hilarious when a character is built up to be very unsympathetic and they reap no consequences for their asshole'ism. It's a slap in the audience's face. A loose end.

That's exactly what it was. A major missed opportunity for Chucky. I don't understand why they didn't have that guy killed.

I liked the character Marion Ravenwood in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
I hated the character Marion Ravenwood in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

And every single character from the movie The Evil Woods. Every last muthafuckin one of them. Not a one had any redeemable characteristics. I wanted them all to die. Including the Jeep.

Because instead of being a cool drunk chick, she was a nagging mom? Understandable. They could have had a cooler child...

see my reply to Troma's post for 2 of them

Evil from Fright Night

the kid from the Babadook
lots of sidekicks from animated movies (Donkey in Shrek, the cricket from Pinocchio, pretty much all fairy godmothers)
Pretty much everyone in The Lion King except for the baddies, Timon and Pumba
The whiny fat boy in the last movie of Sleepaway Camp
Harry Potter oh well I don't like those movies to begin with
the male leads in Zombieland
Klaus Kinski, Tom Cruise, Nicolas Cage in general

The Blair Witch Project protagonists

The kid from Babadook is awful. Of course, that's the whole point though since he's part of her insanity, but fuck him.

By definition, sidekicks are always stupid inferior lackeys. They all suck, existing merely for exposition to give the main hero someone to talk to.

Tom Cruise has been in a few okay movies, but I still think he's an overpaid twat. Nic Cage is good for a laugh, because he thinks he's cool, but he's not, and it makes him funny.
