Hey, I delivered pizzas once for a few months. Sure the money was shit, but the job was easy as fuck and interacting with so many different people on a daily basis and the things they did and said never ceased to amaze me. Every day brought practically at least one interesting story.

I definitely can't deliver. I don't drive. I just sat in the back making the pizzas, so they probably sucked.

With Uber, I wonder how much the food delivery aspect changed for pizza guys over the years. Some of these delivery guys don't even have to get out of their vehicles half the time, and with online pay, you don't have to exchange money. Hell, you can even pre-tip. So if the person does a terrible job, they get that tip either way. Not really sure what's up with that.

Though my life is pretty shitty ATM, there are positives, like I swam in the med for maybe day 5 in a row, yet years ago one job I had was sorting rubbish, literally rubbish on a conveyor belt, I done that in holland. Only lasted a week FWIW I was the only non refugee (and this was before there was the term refugee like today!)

PS my brother was a pizza guy in college. He didn't make them, but he delivered them. He still tells stories about it. He live in a very hilly college town (Ithaca, New York, where he went to Ithaca College), and he beat the living shit out of his car delivering pizzas constantly driving up and down very steep hills. I imagine that his car often sounded a lot like Derry's car in the first Jeepers Creepers.

PSS If you are ever making pizzas with hamburger meat on top, (cooked, hopefully) maybe you can derive inspiration from this:
