Would you want one? Think of it like the movie/tv database, which is technically also a video game database (but I haven't added shit). You can add titles, categorize stuff, and rate it.

You could add basic horror-ish titles and whatever else. I'm sure there are plenty of important horror novels that were adapted into films, as well as horror novelizations that could be mentioned.

I'm asking for thoughts and trying to build hype, but either way, I'm gonna add this feature because the framework is already there. I just want want to see what kind of titles ought to come up. I'm thinking everything from Stephen King, Jack Ketchum, and all those prominent horror movies based on books, like Psycho, The Exorcist, etc. I don't want this thing to be dead in the water as soon as I add the feature. I want to have enough titles to make it halfway decent.

Thoughts? What titles should be added? Do you even read, bro? (I don't)

We have movies, we have shorts. We'd have novels, we'd have short stories. How to measure that, though? Number of words? Chapters? Because pages isn't consistent, depending on page and font size. Then there are books like the bible with multiple versions, and agh! What to do?

Update

I've added "Book" as a media type, so you will now be able to add and rate books and short stories. I've added a few authors to the people database too.

Anyone who is able to add titles should do so. Add whatever you want. I figure there are a few essentials by the likes of Stephen King, Clive Barker, Edgar Allen Poe, HP Lovecraft, and whoever else is a big deal. Also add any novelizations you like. A good book is a good book. Doesn't need to be horror or trash, either.
