I'm watching "11.22.63", starring James Franco as a time-traveler who has to prevent the assassination of JFK. It's pretty interesting so far. It's mostly a 60s period piece, but it's top notch, exploiting some civil rights stuff at the time, but still being an interesting thriller.

Gotta love that Stephen King is still relevant. Theaters here have not only Dark Tower, but now "IT", which has had surprisingly high hype. I haven't even seen the trailer for IT, but it's sold out at my theater, and people are even going as far to leave red balloons near sewer openings. Pretty classy, if you ask me! But then again, what do I know? emoticon

STEPHEN KING rocks.

There's also the TV show version of The Mist. Not watched, but the first season ended just last month. Gerald's Game is cumming to Netflix later this month and there's a fuck ton of other adaptations of his work in various stages of production according to his IMDb page. I feel like even when he passes away, his work will be relevant for a long time after. I'm sure plenty of his short stories haven't been touched yet and some of the adaptations are awful, so no doubt more remakes will pop up sooner or later.
