Not typically. The Casualties of War is a great flick about a war crime, but war is different, and much like The Terminator being a horror film and not being allowed to have that as a genre, some war movies are about crime and aren't allowed to be crime films. So basically... no.

Der was asking me earlier about Schindler's List, another about war crimes that isn't listed as crime. What do you say?

Okay, back to what you were saying about crime needing police and/or investigation... take a movie like The Warriors. Minor cops in the background, no investigation really. Just gangs. Still a crime movie as it follows a street gang. Aren't nazis like... a giant gang?

I'm not intending to watch these questionable movies. Just trying to understand that line.

I never realized Goodfellas had virtually no cops in it. I do remember some cops busted young Henry for selling smokes.

So Terminator has a cyborg slasher, but it isn't horror for some reason. And it has police investigating the phone book killer, but it's not a crime movie either. Got it!

I actually do consider Kyle and Sarah as one of cinema's best romances. "I came across time for you, Sarah." The original line in the script was, "I ejaculated across time for you," but studios took issue with that for some reason.

Well, at least he played the president in The Simpsons Movie.

I thought the plot was pretty great. They fuck up so hard that they're banished to Alaska. If you watched the newer stuff, you'd say the movie is great in comparison.

It's science. It already happened to me. My best work was Terrible Things from 2011, and then I was done after one masterpiece. I ended on top.

Great effort by all those who participated. Crime is an easy one and I'm sad to see it end so quick. I could have easily gone on another week or two.
