Anyone have any interesting thoughts on this puppy?? Just rewatched this one, and I don't know what's up sfpx's butt. This movie has all the makings of a trash epic. It's extremely boring, drawn out, and our protagonist Herschell reminds me a lot of our best friend Tromafreak. Of course, they both live in Florida and turn into evil turkeys when they smoke pot, but that's beside the point.

The idea of this episode was that everyone thought there was a ghost running amok in these people's house, but it was actually a girl who didn't really know that she had telekinesis, and was causing all kinds of mayhem via her unconscious mind, as she slept. The commentary here says it was inspired by The Exorcist, but of course it had to be at least partly inspired by Carrie. The family name of the telekinetic girl is Cory. I mean, come on.

I'm not sure if anyone here has seen any of the AHS seasons, but I am a huge fan of this show! Most seasons are really good, my least favorite would have to be Roanoke. Early short film from Ari Aster, who would go on to direct Hereditary and Midsommar. It's a pretty fucked up tale of sexual abuse, but not like you've seen it before.

For me, the ultimate is "The Amityville Horror' movie series. There is really no reason for this movie to have any sequels and/or spinoffs, let alone close to twenty.

I know I didn't officially participate in the October challenge on TE. I organized one for the Dutch speaking horror fans which started earlier (late September) and went on longer (until November 10th) than the usual. It gave more people the opportunity to reach the 31 goal. The winner eventually watched 116 movies. 10 from the 18 participants reached the end goal. I was 4th with 85 viewings I didn't really kept track exactly of the amount of FTV and RW but I guess 90% were FTV.
