Anybody a fan of this guy? I used to enjoy at least a couple of his short stories, years ago (Alamagoosa, and And Then There Were None). I enjoyed his sense of humor, and he made me think. I'm thinking about getting back into his books.

I watched this the other day. I thought it was fairly interesting, and it's intended to get you thinking. I think the whole movie makes MUCH more sense if you really pay attention to the first two or three minutes (as is often the case).

Anyone here seen this film? I found it recently on Tubi by accident. Had never heard of it or of any of the actors in it. I don't want to say much about it yet in case no one has seen it, but I am curious what anyone who did see it thought about it. It's a slasher film, with homage to quite a few genre classics.
It's not a foreign film but a quick look around revealed that it's not easy to get a DVD or Blu-ray of it.

The prequel series premiered on Friday the 13th with a single episode and will go on for a total of 10 episodes. This was announced alongside the news of a sequel series to Dexter: New Blood with Michael C. Hall returning. Obviously, he has fun playing the part, and he definitely owns it, so why give that up? I'm all for more, and this prequel includes him as a narrator. So far, we're looking good.

You guys, I am about a third of the way through this book right now. I'm mentioning it here because I am wondering if it might have been partly inspired by Return of the Living Dead.

No, that's not the name of a movie I saw, I just had a really brutal nightmare.
My nightmare was set in my apartment, in my bathroom, until right at the end.
Basically, I was in the shower, shampooing, and suddenly I just knew (like you just KNOW things in dreams) that an ex-girlfriend had just let herself in. That wouldn't have been so bad, but in my dream this ex-girlfriend had become a vampire. She could get into my apartment because I had invited her in lots of times.
