If you even have one. A few days ago I watched Grindsploitation (2016), which isn't on DVD or Blu-ray for some reason even though it's a new movie and they don't make VCRs anymore. I had to set up my old VCR because I hadn't used it in years. Since I have it out, there are a few movies I only have on VHS that I want to rewatch now.

I don't have a VCR. I had one years ago but it broke. I never collected VHS tapes. I only started collecting DVDs when the VHS tapes were on their way out. I would have loved to own some for nostalgia sake tho.

Don't have one any more. I miss the days sometimes when you could just record stuff from TV and exchange VHS. Too bad they never were able to make a similar DVD recording system. The Hard disk recording system was handy but required you to burn the stuff on disk afterwards when you wanted to watch it elsewhere.
We have now a digicorder provided by the TV company. It allows you to record on some kind of built-in hard disk. But unless you are pretty technical it's pretty hard to get the recorded stuff on some other external device.
Sometimes I feel technology goes backwards. I'm not a fan of streaming. I rather have the stuff I want to watch stored somewhere not depending on services who decide what people can or cannot watch.

A couple times a week, at least. I have a pretty good one that also serves as a dvd player. I bought it over 7 years ago and surprisingly it still works fine.

I transfer my VHS and lasers to DVD and watch them that way (but only the ones that haven't been released on DVD or Blu). Haven't bought either format in awhile though, mainly just when it isn't available anywhere else.

At least once or twice every year - although when I do use it I tend to get nostalgic and gorge on several VHS (or beta) movies before going back to DVD/BLU. I keep the VHS hooked up full time now just in case there's something I want to watch that I can't find elsewhere....

I have not used my laserdisc player in years.

ours is always hooked up to the old beast of a tube tv but is seldom used these days. sometimes i go through old recordable tapes to see what crappy joys i taped off tv years ago, and like you have some movies only on VHS format

pretty cool gimmick for Grindsploitation, the film any good?

It's worth a watch. It's mostly fake trailers, with a few other odd clips thrown in. Most are forgettable, but there a few that are pretty good.
