I'm surprised you haven't heard of it either. It was apparently directed by Tobe Hooper's son as a prison documentary type of movie with a lot of Buckethead involved. This would be the start of a great partnership as Bill and Bucket worked on Cornbugs together, with Bill on vocals and in-character of Chop-Top. I've listened to that band so much, even my mom grew fond of them.

The lack of interest in this movie is upsetting. I think Chop-Top was still on everyone's mind a couple of years later when Rob Zombie went into making his Chainsaw Massacre movie that eventually turned into House of 1000 Corpses. Otis and Choppy have a few similarities, but they are quite different characters overall.

Onyx sent me that same video earlier. I heard about this one a few years ago. Sounds like the one movie that might have been able to get that series back on track. Still waiting for something to happen...

I think I read somewhere there was a rights issue holding it back from getting finished. Pretty sure all it needs is some post-production work in order for it to be complete. I'm sure one day it'll be released but whether that's in 5 years or 25 years is anyone's guess. Hopefully while Bill Mosley is still alive.

So much untapped potential in the Chop-Top character.
