That's right, a new Leprechaun movie, directed by Steve Kostanski of Astron-6 fame, and director of The Void. Forget about that piece of shit Leprechaun: Origins, this is the true return of the series. Unfortunately, Warwick Davis chose not to return, but honestly, the new actor is as good of a replacement as they possibly could have had. While this is no spectacular achievement, it's great fun, and a return to form for the Leprechaun series. If you like the first three movies, then I see no reason why you wouldn't enjoy this one.

This one actually looks pretty good. Most of the sequels are pretty dumb, but at least somewhat entertaining due to Warwick Davis, but this new guy looks like he's got what it takes. This looks kind of zany, in a good way. I'll watch it.

Gave this a whirl today. Pretty good for SyFy fare, and non-Warwick does just fine. I appreciate that it followed the original movie, even though I don't particularly care for that or any of the Leprechaun movies. It's simply the right move to make, and this movie was plenty violent. Lots of gore.
