What are the odds of the same guy having his loved ones wiped out by gangs on five separate occasions? I think I would have given up on starting relationships after the second time. Forget it, dude. You're cursed. Everyone you will ever love is doomed.

What are the odds? Pretty good, if the movies are still making money. emoticon

He must have always picked a shitty part of town to live. There was supposed to be a 6th movie at one point, where he would be guiding some other lost soul down the road of being a vigilante, but they waited too long for it. In a way, I think the character might have enjoyed it after a while. Let's see how well Bruce Willis handles the role. I'm really hoping he puts forth at least a little effort in this one.

He really should have thought about leaving the city. But yeah, it did seem like he enjoyed it. Like he almost wanted something to happen so he could go on a killing spree again. I never really approve of any movie being remade, and I'm not the biggest Bruce Willis fan, but I do plan to see it mainly because I like everything Eli Roth has made.

I've been watching the Death Wish movies this month and thought the same thing during part 4 last night. It was almost a running joke at that point. I thought maybe they'd change the formula, but nope! emoticon

I guess when you find a formula that works, you gotta stick with it. Even if it makes no sense.
