Well, I'm pretty stoked that we have Robert Covaks (a Charles Bronson lookalike) doing a Death Wish rip-off. That's Bronson-sploitation, so you never know. Maybe they'll find some asian dude who looks similar enough, and he'll be in movies where he catches flies and teaches people how to wax-on and wax-off.

Interestingly enough, the man has 11 posthumous acting credits. He died in 2005 but has credits as recent as 2014.

I pitched this idea elsewhere and someone correctly pointed out to me that Victor Wong plays a Miyagi-esque character in the 3 Ninja movies.

I fucking loved "3 Ninjas" when I was a kid. Granted, I was a kid who wanted to be a ninja when I grew up, so when I look back on the movie... it really does suck. I'm sure zed likes the 4th movie, because it has Hulk Hogan in it.

Victor Wong was the grandfather of those three super American boys, which is pretty funny. I think they might explain it in the movie, but kids still don't pay attention to that. They just threw in Victor Wong to ground the movie, and make it seem more legit.

Actually I think the one where the kids help the indians was actually pretty decent. I believe that was 3 Ninjas Kick Back? I never saw the last one with Hulk Hogan. Also they did not always use the same actors for the kids.

The first movie had one set of kids... The second movie (Kick Back) replaced 2 out of 3 of them, then the third movie (Knuckle Up) had all the kids from the first movie. They shot 3 first, but released 2 first. Then, the last movie had all new kids, so I was pissed and never watched it. Victor Wong is in all of them as the glue for the series, but it's still kind of continuity mess.

I was thinking the same thing when I read your OP. Those 3 Ninja movies (I believe there is 4 of them) are pretty much slapstick comedy.
