I thought it was a big step down from the first one, but if you give it a few more watches, you'll find the charm to it. The venus fly trap wrap-around is okay, and the indian statue one is pretty standard, but The Raft is pretty damn cool, and the hitchhiker one is pretty unique. "Thanks for the ride, lady!"

Too bad we never got a real Creepshow 3...

Great sequel. In some ways, I think I prefer it to the original.

Unlike many, I love Old Chief Wood'nhead. It's a great revenge story and the Indian is creepy as hell. Always good to see George Kennedy too.

The Raft rocks. Everyone knows that.

The Hitchhiker might be my favorite. What a perfect blend of spine-tingling horror and laugh out loud comedy. The music during the scenes with the woman trying effortlessly to get the hitchhiker off her car is brilliant. And Stephen King's line, "It looks like a black guy" is just classic!

It's definitely not as good as the first, but the only part I don't like much at all is the wraparound segment. Quite weak compared to the original's wraparound.

I used to consider The Raft to be my favorite segment, but now I think I prefer The Hitchhiker.

I'd not seen this in years n couldn't remember a great deal aside from the raft segment, so after seeing your post just had a rewatch.

Chief Wood'nhead - not as cartoonish as i recall, the douche guys is a real scumbag. Everyone watches a show called Cisco Kid.

The Raft - just how did the jock swim over to the raft in just his skimpy panties, yet produce not one, but(t) two bone dry fatty boombatties!? one rectal, one urethra, extra flava flav. Everyone talks about n references a show called Cisco Kid.

The Hitchhiker - still my least fave, but probably the funniest esp King's cameo. Nobody mentions Cisco Kid.

God, I remember Arena. Used to watch that shit all the time when it made the rounds on one of the movie channels.

In the story version of The Raft in Skeleton Crew the two guys call themselves Pancho and Cisco (I'm guessing after the tv show). It's probably on the tv in Woodenhead as a nod to the following story or something.

When I first watched it my fav's in order would be Hitcher, Raft then Woodenhead.

Now it's probably Raft, Woodenhead then Hitcher.

I still don't like the animated segment in this one because it just feels too much like a saturday morning cartoon to me. All in all miles worse than the first but miles better than 3.

Technically, a step down from the original, but I've always found this one more entertaining. The Raft never gets old. I always thought the final story was a letdown compared to the first 2, though.

I love Creepshow 2. I can understand if some one sees it now, it won't knock their socks off, but I saw it in the 80s on VHS.
