I had to catch a flight back to barcelona (I missed my last one cause I was stuck in ukraine, I still get these russian messages today about that, cause I organized some ride from there over the border, but I dont know how to say to th guy, stop fucking emailing me, that was just for then)
anyways I though fuck it I can take a bus to the airport or I could walk and since it was only 20 km and I had 6 hours I decided walking of course, half way through, I get lost in the wooods, had to climb a 2meter fence (with backpack) and then got stuck afterwards, I could of climed down a cliff like 10m with backback in the snow, but being sane I thought fuck that, I had to kick a hole through this other fence eventually.
I was a bit desperate cause I could see time was ticking down and flight time was coming up. I made it, running with my backpack on against the traffix on the highway, cars honking their horns at me, Im like its OK Im a teenager, in my 50s.

Fuck I've led a good interesting life, even though most at the time has been a shitshow & I hate it at the time, but afterwards Im like yeah I done that. I watched Cannibal Terror (1980) which has been on my must watch list for at least a decde. & I have to say Wow, blown away, esp the thought they showed this at cannes as a serious film (I've never been to cannes btw even though its just up the coast), Though I don't think it redefines cinema, it certainly is a touchpoint of film , that trash cinema should dwell upon.
And how did they think the master directed it, how did this rumour persist for so long?
I will leave the scholars to debate this, but for me after 10 minutes Im like this aint a franco film, its watchable & no zooms in on bushes/boobs. FFS

Opposite for me. I was surprised how much I hated Don't Fuck In The Woods 2. I remember liking the first one at least a little.

Agreed about Chesty Morgan. She deserves a national fuckin' holiday for such funbags. I wish she had done more movies than just the 2.

Cannibal Terror is definitely in the bottom 5 on the cannibal movie list for me. It was the first non-Italian one I ever saw, and it felt pretty off in just about every way, from the score to the gore. Franco's White Cannibal Queen was definitely a worse movie but somehow I enjoyed it more. Cannibal Terror is pretty unusual though, and not a total waste of time.

My effort wasn't as great as I'd like it to be, but I had enough fun with it. I did see a bunch of mainstream shit because I had no idea what I should watch, but some of that shit was fun. Cocaine Bear, M3GAN, Scream 6, John Wick 4...

Not a lot of great trash viewings, but Dead Dicks was pretty good, and I loved Return to Return to Nuke 'Em High.

Fitting that my last viewing was my first ever Garbage point I guess, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023), what a piece of shit.

Haha, I wouldn't give it a garbage point, but it was pretty lame. Unoriginal kills (too many head smashes), but the concept is still an amazing F.U. to Disney.

I like both movies with Chesty Morgan but than again I just love the weirdness of the Doris Wishman flicks. For a woman to make exploitation movies in a time when directing movies and especially in this field was dominated by men (well it still kinda is) women were usually the object of the exploitation, was quite an achievement. She did pretty much everything herself even the soundtrack. The only ones I saw of her during the challenge were the 2 Greek movies she dubbed and made up the story herself but I wouldn't really recommend these even though they weren't as terrible as I was thinking they would be. It was more me being the Wishman completist there. So except for a hardcore porn flick or 2 I think I have seen every movie directed by the queen of exploitation.

I think I've seen about as much as I care to from ol' Doris. The nudist movies are the only ones I really care for. I like Chesty Morgan much more than those 2 movies she was in. She was the only thing that made them worth watching, imo. I watched a couple Wishman sexploitation movies from the 60's called Indecent Desires and My Brother's Wife. Pretty dull, I thought. Still haven't gotten around to seeing that graphic-sounding sex change documentary she did. Will most likely keep it that way.

It depends a bit how many 60s exploitation movies you have seen. I have seen quite a lot (thanks to Something Weird Video offering inspiration) and I do have a soft spot for those. Don't remember much from My Brother's Wife but yeah it was dull. Indecent Desires I liked well I found the concept cool some sex voodoo stuff, the execution was lacking I agree. My favorite exploitation from Doris (apart from those with Chesty) are A Taste of Flesh, The Amazing Transplant and Bad Girls go to Hell.
But the better 'roughies' are IMO the Flesh trilogy from the Findlays and the Olga movies of Joseph P. Mawra, especially Olga's Girls and White Slaves of Chinatown.

I always think a good yardstick to find out if roughies are for you is watching one of the first: The Defilers from Lee Frost and Friedman.
Nudist camp movies are often really dull even those from Ole Hersch were hard to sit through. Doris made them more interesting IMO. And the one about sex change was Let me die a woman. I don't remember it being that graphic but you don't really miss anything if you don't watch it. You are better off watching the horror flicks she made at later age like Night to dismember.
