Hmm. I'll have to think about this. Many of these films I haven't seen in over 10 years, possibly more than even 15 years. So I basically will have to go by memory. I'll come back to edit this post later when I have more time.

Ok. (Who is fucking who in that emoticon?)

Cannibal Holocaust
Cannibal Ferox
Cut and Run
Jungle Holocaust
Dr Butcher MD
The Green Inferno
Trap Them and Kill Them
Massacre in Dinosaur Valley
Devil Hunter
White Cannibal Queen
Eaten Alive
White Slave
Mountain of the Cannibal God
Man from Deep River
Invaders of the Lost Gold

I too at one time used to place Ferox over Holocaust, but a semi recent viewing, maybe 6 months ago, proved to me that Holocaust is the mother of all cannibal films for a reason.

If Holocaust is the cool, sophisticated older brother who rides a Harley, wears a leather jacket and has a hotter than fuck girlfriend, Ferox is the perverted, perpetually horny, creepy, mildly retarded, acne-faced younger brother who eats his scabs, tortures cats and whose only chances of getting laid is with a blow-up doll. Ferox rules.

Lol, NO, Invaders of the Lost Gold sucks! It's bad and unfortunately not in an endearing way. It's just plain coma-inducing.

Ever see Treasure of the Amazon? It's a Mexican film, mostly an adventure movie of sorts, but there's plenty of exploitation-y elements to satiate all trash lovers. It's been a while, but I don't remember if there are cannibals in it. Probably some brutish natives. I do know someone gets fucked up royally by a gang of vicious crabs.

Ha, I thought you were just being sarcastic when you asked me if it was worth watching!

Yeah, Treasure of the Amazon ain't bad. I think the dude who directed it is the son of the guy that made Night of the Bloody Apes.

Sounds like the time I rented Stagefright (1987) - correct box and all - and got Stagefright (1980) instead.

Oh, yeah. Those were the titles I am personally most familiar with, in regards to those films. It's the way I first watched them. White Slave is another. I see most folks refer to it as Amazonia: The Catherine Miles Story.

Y'know what, I just realized nobody mentioned Cannibal Apocalypse. Yeah, its setting takes place mostly in NYC as opposed to the jungles, but I think it should still count. Invasion of the Flesh Hunters was the American re-titling. Once again, a more lurid, and therefore better, title, in my opinion, but unlike the other films, that version was severely cut.

Dang, forgot about Adam and Eve vs. the Cannibals. Had that on tape as "Blue Paradise." Pretty good movie. Fancy production, cutesy plot, though they never faced off against any true cannibals, from what I remember. They were like primitive cavemen. Maybe there's an uncut version out there which goes full gusto and they chow down on Eve's vulva, but until then, it did seem to operate outside the usual Italian cannibalistic exploitation fodder.
