I seen a handful but to be honest, I dont care for them that much. I know you do like stuff from that period but it wouldn't be my cup of tea. I think there was a lot of good stuff out in the 70s and 90s.
Putting 90s as second favorite sure makes you an exception. Most people rate it much lower. I don't think it is odd to rate the 70s high though. You are an odd man but still love ya mate
It was really hard for me to decide first place between the 70's and 80's. In the end, I had to go with the 80's for first because of all the iconic horror characters that were created in that decade. Plus my favorite horror movie of all time Demons is from that decade.
Stuck in the past are you? Living the nostalgia and the movies from your childhood over and over again. Or like the song from Alphaville "Forever Young".
70s is the best, easily. Last House on the Left, The Exorcist, Andy Warhol's Frankenstein, Andy Warhol's Dracula, Black Christmas, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Ilsa: She-Wolf of the SS, Jaws, Bloodsucking Freaks, Carrie, Deathbed: The Bed that Eats, Eaten Alive, Suspiria, Dawn of the Dead, Halloween, I Spit on Your Grave, Alien, Phantasm, etc...
80s is also great in a much cheesier way, though there are plenty of great serious ones. 80s was definitely the most fun. Hellraiser, slashers galore, crazy effects, and imagination up to 11.
After that, it gets kinda hazy, so I'm just gonna wing it:
Bump. Sfpx's thread about top ten favorites made me think of this... these threads used to pop up on IMDB fairly often, but it looks like there has only been one here. Maybe someone can think of some little twist or gimmick to make a new thread about this general topic.
Also, hey, I said "bump." People don't say bump too much on Trash Epics. Once again, I am blazing a new trail of innovative, exciting, forward-looking and avant-garde experimentations.
