I found it rather surprising that Snowy beat my list with so many 21st century movies. Not that they are all awful but this century has way better movies than these. Bar het Elm Street picks I find her list pretty meh not to mention a super safe with no surprises. A list for the horror dummy I would say.

So markus

After looking at your Top 100 of which many of mine feature higher up the list and only two of Snowy's feature, I am a little baffled by your vote I must admit emoticon.

I know it's supposed to be a bit of fun and I am honestly not bothered about losing but sometimes to be fair, I think people need to justify their votes.

That is true, I must admit emoticon but I have to say I am a sucker for an underdog.. it is obvious your list is the more critically acclaimed of the two, but I feel your list is the more safer of the two, that partially influenced my vote, it is clear to me that Snowy_Owl is in the infancy of her horror passion.. I like to take risks, I do not think anyone voted for my list, and I still would not have changed my choices..

Plus I recall you quipped "Nah my list is just kick-ass" in reply to Johan..

That lost you points emoticon No one likes a *Beep*!

You may even win this round, but at least it will be exciting.

You did better than I did! For what it is worth I think Snowy is a strong contender. She may even win it, but it will be close.

Gymno you're too funny your motivation why you voted Snowy is like the weakest, it's more of an anti-vote. I don't believe for a moment you like her list more. Snowy went for pretty popular choices too IMO they have just not settled yet in years.

That is the unfortunate aspect, not everyone will be happy with your vote, I am afraid. Johan, why did anyone vote for Snowy's then? We all have our ways of voting; some people calculate their ratings to each list, some people just cast their vote on the spot.. I just felt Snowy's list was more spontaneous.

I think I'll pick snowy. Markus has a few good ones, but a few I haven't seen like Eyes without a Face, the Haunting, and Onibaba.

Snowy's list has a few movies I love. The Nightmare on Elm Streets, Fire Walk with Me, Trick 'r Treat, Halloween, The Devil's Rejects, It. But Markus' list as a whole just appeals to me more. The Exorcist, Alien, Suspiria, Jaws, Night of the Living Dead, Rosemary's Baby, Gremlins, Ginger Snaps, Psycho. I also don't dislike any of Markus' movies unlike Scream 4 on Snowy's list.
