The Paradise Lost documentaries are pretty disturbing.

Might be hard to find. The one on YouTube isn't complete. Missing the last 30 minutes which is where it gets really disturbing and creepy.

You actually watched the whole thing? I think that would be the closest you could get to insanity.

Oh I see. No I haven't. I think someone on the IMDb horror board said he watched all of it. I don't think I could.

I've not actually watched it yet, but apparently Children of Darkness (1983) is difficult to watch. It's basically about mentally ill teens being handled by adults who don't know or probably care about what they're doing.

De Mondo movies area good option: Mondo Cane, Mondo Freudo, Mondo Bizarro etc. Not all of those are that shocking but I think they are fun.

And there is of course the great Häxan (1922)!

Cropsey is a good one.

There's another one called 'Killer Legends' by (I think) the same folk that done 'Cropsey'. Seen it ages ago so can't remember if it's any good.
