I haven't seen it. Kept hearing a lot of mixed reviews about it, so I passed on it. I didn't like Get Out at all.

You're not wrong in that sentiment. Get Out was okay at best, but overhyped to all hell, and enough so that those Hollywood idiots thought it was a good "original" screenplay. But "Us" isn't a terrible movie. I wrote a post a while back about how Twin Peaks already did everything cool that US so cleverly tried to take credit for, but it's definitely a better movie than Get Out. It has a lot of bunnies.

I agree with Box, Get Out was nowhere near as original or fresh as initially claimed. Us is better but again wants to be too clever for its own good. Seems the director wants to make some kind of statement not only by using mostly black cast but it's that all look how smart this is aura that is rubbed into the viewer.
