I wouldn't hold your breath. This has been getting talked about for years. I know at one point Arnold Schwarzenegger was attached. I wouldn't even be that interested to be honest. The low budget charm is the main reason the original is such a classic.

God damnit, it's been nearly 20 years since we last saw Toxie! I can't believe Toxie 4 is that old...

A few years ago, Steve Pink was attached to direct a remake, and Arnold Schwarzenegger was in talks to be Toxie's trainer. That would have been the greatest thing of all time.

As for now... all we can do is wait for more info. I sure hope they don't turn it PG. We already have a kid-friendly version of Toxie, and that's the Toxic Crusaders cartoon (which ain't bad).

I remember hearing on and off reports that Lloyd has been working on Toxie 5, but I gave up hope on that. It takes Lloyd a lot longer to make movies these days, but God bless him. A true hero.

That's fine. Wasn't wanting a Toxie 5, anyway. I wonder if they're still going to get Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the Mayor...
