A place to talk about anything related to this year's Black & White Challenge https://trashepics.com/post/8/62/.

I don't know what to watch for it. What else is new? Maybe the past progress threads can help all of us:

2017 https://trashepics.com/post/9/120/
2018 https://trashepics.com/post/9/179/

The discussion threads don't offer much in the way of recs, but @Box made a thread about some B&W classics: https://trashepics.com/post/1/384/

I'm stumped too, but I'll give it a go anyway. I still haven't finished the damn Twilight Zone, and that's getting relevant again. I should watch some of the originals again because I'm trying to channel it for a story idea I'm working on. A trash epic about hobos who have entered the twilight zone.

I like the idea of searching youtube for public domain movies. Combined with the runtime system, movies like that are easy to put on for background noise.

Twilight Zone took me a few years to finish. I'd watch a bunch of episodes, then get tired of it and not touch it again for a long time. Good show though. It goes a little downhill in quality after season three, especially during season four because of the hour long episodes, but there's still the occasional gem.

Is your story going to be another novel or a script? I remember you talking recently about wanting to film a new short.

Black Moon 1934 is a good one if anyone is looking for a pre-Code voodoo movie to watch.
