I would allow the Predestination rewatch to score too. Largely because it brings up a couple of other possibilities that have never been allowed to count - watching the film a second time with commentary and watching different versions of the same film. The ruling used to be that if there were two different listings on IMDB (Original Godzilla and Americanized Godzilla, for instance) then each could count, but there are a ton of films that only have one IMDB listing and yet they are very different (Lynch's Dune and the TV "Alan Smithee" version). So I say a rewatch within the same month (with or without commentary) and different versions of the same film should both count.

One rewatch per FTV though. I don't want to see somebody hooked on an endless orgasm reel like in Brainstorm.

I love TZ but I actually prefer Night Gallery. Both shows were great anyway.

Absolutely. If you are a TZ fan - I suspect you will be a Night Gallery fan too. If you haven't seen them you have a lot of great stories in store. That's three seasons of 45-50 minute episodes so $37 is a fairly decent price.

Night Gallery is more horror based than TZ which had some straight sci/fi, fantasy and even drama shows.

I read enough Heavy Metal back in the 79s/80s to recognize that image as being French. That was a great era for sci/fi comic art and that's a cool image from BlindSpot.

The movie actually feels more like a prequel to them although they were made first - they have a slightly different take. Rare Exports started with the first short which was actually made as a corporate thing that was so well received it was entrered at a bunch of film festivals. Both shorts have very dry, black sense of humour and some good laughs but they are done on a much smaller scale and budget than the film.

If you liked this film you would probably like the films of Aki Kaurismaki - he is perhaps the most deadpan black humorist on the planet. Also from Finland - which seems to inspire that.

EDIT: Wow, I don't know how 2000 AD has stayed off my radar. I just read up on it and it sounds awesome. I'm going to start looking for some back issues.
