That bed would eat the hamster and its broccoli too. Love the surreal feel of this one though.

Yeah it would!
But I gotta agree, some reckon this movie is terrible, but how could one hate such a movie. It's whole tone is unlike any other I've ever seen. Truly the most unique movie I've ever seen.

I know what you mean. I've definitely never seen another movie with a concept quite like that of Death Bed.

It doesn't really compare, but another man-eating, demonically possessed household appliance film is The Refrigerator (1991) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102767/reference . It's bad enough, but not truly, awesomely bad. Though Juan the Plumber must be the second best heroic plumber on film (after Brazil's Harry Tuttle, naturally).
It's fun enough, but The Refrigerator lacks the balls out weirdness of Death Bed: The Bed That Eats. Hausu https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076162/reference may be a better comparison on that front, but I haven't managed to see that yet.

Never heard of The Refrigerator, but that cover for it has me intrigued. I have heard of Hausu. Not seen it yet either though.
So you're a fan of Brazil too, eh?
