Mine is boring, so don't bother (part-time dishwasher).

But it seems to me that a lot of people here might have interesting full-time jobs.
Not sure what he does, but -deadandburied81- said he spends 9 hours in front of a PC.
Also, if memory serves me correct, Johan said that he's a test-engineer.

Tell me about your jobs, especially if they're full-time. I'm interested.

I'm not employed full-time. emoticon I get 28 to 40 hours a week selling popcorn and alcohol. I wish I could make money doing something online so I could be a lazy asshole, but no such luck.

Was full time working for the NHS until earlier this year when a load of us got laid off. On JSA at the mo (equivilent of Welfare) which leaves a lot of free time for films & fucking about online.

Been doing some unpaid work for a charity manning a phoneline for depressed, suicidal or just plain lonely people. At first i thought it's ridiculous having someone like me 'counsel' people on the edge, but apparently i can be empathetic & a good listener when i want to be. It's antisocial hours but very interesting, hopefully i can get some paid work in a similar area.

I have a 60 hour work week that pays me for 35 hours and the people I work for are egotistical pricks.
I wish was unemployed like Foz. No, wait, I just wish I had a better job

The first time i've been outta full time employment this millenium, was amazing being a lazy sloth at first, but now the redundancy pay is waning & my hard working good lady is getting a lil impatient with me...

Maybe we should start some kind of online international conglomeration...

Anyway Peeps, i'm sure something will turn up if ya keep looking. Anytime you're down, just think of the day you can tell your current employers to stuff it

Waning pay is no good... neither is redundancy I suppose. If by redundant you mean one can watch as many movies and horse races and go hiking day after day after day after....

...then I'm all for it!!! emoticon

But for now we suffer... working for the MAN. emoticon
But this helps... emoticon

All thing being equal I think I'd rather pick up dog poop.

Full timer here. I'm one of the terminal managers for a trucking company. I like it, mainly because of the people. Some days can get stressful, but that's just because it's super busy.

If you're man enough to take on the truckers, then you deserve the shades for sure. I've got a friend who drives, but not long haul. He drinks like a fish out of water when he's not driving and eats like a horse when he is.

Full time. I manage a library. It's either the second, third or fourth busiest branch in our system (depending on which stats you are looking at) and I am understaffed (I could use another 40 hour employee - all I have is three part timers and a lot of volunteers) so I end up multi-tasking all day long. On the bright side, I work for a library but on the dark side I am underpaid and overworked.

My sister works in a library too, if moving to the States was an option for her, you would have an extra employee for sure ;)

My guess is she wouldn't like working here. Vacation and benefits are crappy compared to most European jobs.

But, I'm sure I would love to have her on my staff.

I'm a test engineer working 4 days a week (80%) which I have been doing now for 8 years. Working full time like I did over 10 years ago and in a different area just wore me out. I need to have more than just weekend days to do what I like. If the majority of my life would be working I would get very depressed for sure.

I like my job even though test work has been rather low lately but fortunately my other tasks are always ICT related too. It also gives me lot os opportunity to spend time online even during work hours.

I'm self employed. I sell my art. Mainly hollowed out painted eggs. I also do reborn dolls from time to time. I hate working regular jobs.

Ever paint any goose eggs? My wife has a tradition of us doing Easter eggs from hollowed out goose eggs (we have 9 geese). This year she is also cutting designs in hers using a drimel and then lighting them from within with a little portable light. I'll try and get some photos when they are done.

And congrats on supporting yourself with art - not an easy thing to do.

Do you use the geese as sentinels? Or just for eggs?
BTW, if you'll take a alibrarian with absolutely no experience I'll work for you! I can keep the geese in line (that I do have experinece with). emoticon
