Fortress and Cat O' Nine Tails.

When I first saw Fortress,
I was expecting something grittier and tougher, ala ''The Escape From NY of the 90's''.
But I've learned to appreciate it, and I currently have it ranked #5 on my all-time list.
It has such a polished look to it, Lambert's character is infinitely unselfish, and the scenes with his wife are simply memorable.
7/10

I think Nine Tails highly raised my expectation with it's title alone, especially since it's a 70's release.
The picture/dubbing are bland and, like most giallos, is deliberately-paced.
But I've developed an appreciation for it over the years, as it has it's moments,
the performances are satisfactory, and the blonde has a good-sized tank for a skinny dame.
6/10 upon multiple views

I would stay away from sequels (this was back in the 90s vhs days) I didn't like Return of the Living Dead II compared to RotLd and the Howling sequels were abysmal. However there are good sequels that I learned to appreciate.

I didn't see Exorcist III until a few years ago and it is fantastic. I was a late bloomer on Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3, Scanners 2

There are other movies like this where I was like "Nah" and later I was like "Yeah" I can't think of them now.
