How long has your fave horror film been as such?

It's no secret that Terror (1978) is my favorite film.
It was June of last year when I first saw it, so it'd be 15 months for Sweet Terror O' Mine. n/m

My Fave Horror is Dead and Buried, I saw it on a blind rental in 2004, the first burn victim scared the shit out of me. The other scene with the trapped people in the house and everyone is taking photos of them is super creepy. I really liked the score and gore and the lack of explanation and the obvious twist and especially the ending. I haven't seen anything like it ever and I doubt it would be remade, it is been near and dear to my heart since I first saw it I try to introduce it to people who like slow burn horror, some dig it and some don't

Hmm...slashers are much more my cup of tea than zombie flicks.
Terror, despite being a witch movie, plays like a slash.
But being an 80's kid, I probably would like it. Tough to tell, perhaps.

It's tough as hell to pick a favorite horror film, but the one that started it all for me is Halloween '78. I saw it when I was a kid and the inexplicable nature of Michael Myers made me obsessive to study the movie, its sequels, and ultimatley, a whole slew of various horror franchises.

As a child, you can let yourself become biased, but you usually realize your bias later on in life when you revisit certain movies to find out that they suck in retrospect. Halloween was a perfect film to me then, setting the standards way too high for a damn 4th grader, and not many movies since have even been comparable.
